President’s Bioethics Commission Cites Multiple Works of the Research Network in its report on Law and Neuroscience  

President Obama charged his Bioethics Commission in 2013 with considering the potential implications of neuroscience for (among several other things) the criminal justice system.  Last week, the Bioethics Commission answered that call with a 150-page report (here), Chapter 4 of which addresses “Neuroscience and the Legal System.”  The Bioethics Commission cited sixteen works of the MacArthur Foundation Research Network on Law and Neuroscience, and its Members  – including a consensus statement of policy recommendations (here).
